I had the pleasure of photographing my best friend Jessica’s engagement photos with her now-husband Josh in the beautiful town of Aurora, Oregon. Even though these photos are a little overdue since they’re already married, I’m still excited to share the beautiful memories we captured that day.
Jessica and I have been friends for as long as I can remember, and we’ve prayed and dreamed together for years about what this season of engaged life would possibly look like for each of us. I couldn’t be more excited for Jessica and Josh! I was so honored that she asked me to take their engagement photos.
The day of the shoot was beautiful, with clear blue skies and the sun shining bright. We went to some of the most beautiful spots in Aurora, capturing the stunning scenery and the love that was radiating between Jessica and Josh. As a photographer, I love being able to capture the raw emotions that come with an engagement shoot. There’s something so special about capturing the excitement, love, and joy of two people who are about to spend the rest of their lives together.
It’s been such a joy to see God answer Jessica’s prayers for a husband and to become such close friends with Josh as well. Seeing their love grow and mature over the past couple years has been truly beautiful. It was an honor to be able to capture their love on camera and to be a part of such a special moment in their lives!!
