Being a part of a best friend’s proposal is so special! So, when Kevin reached out and told me that he wanted me to photograph his proposal to my best friend Mikayla, I was overjoyed!
He decided that the perfect location for the proposal would be by the river in West Linn, one of their favorite spots. With its beautiful views and serene atmosphere, it was the ideal location for such a special moment. He scouted out the perfect spot, and I worked with Kevin to plan the details of the proposal.
On the day of the proposal, Mikayla said she had an idea of what was about to happen, haha. She was so excited when Kevin got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. And I was there to capture every moment on camera.
It was so much fun to photograph the proposal, and photography is something that I would highly recommend to anyone who is planning to pop the question. Having a photographer there to capture the moment provides you with beautiful memories to look back on!
After the proposal, we all went back to my house for a celebratory brunch with our other best friend, Jessica. We laughed and reminisced about all the good times we’ve shared over the years. It was the perfect way to cap off such a special moment.
I was so honored to be Mikayla’s maid of honor standing by her side on her wedding day. And I’m so grateful that I was able to be a part of such a special moment in her life. Capturing their proposal on camera is something that I will always cherish, and I know that Mikayla and Kevin will too.
