Well hello! I’m glad you’re here! Welcome to my humble little space on the web :)
I stumbled into photography in 2010 when I used my textbook money to buy a digital camera. It was one of those split-moment decisions that didn’t receive too much thought but sounded like a good idea. Maybe you can relate. When my family found out they were convinced that I made the wrong decision and unfortunately my grades did suffer but my dreams of becoming a photographer only grew and quickly after purchasing my camera I began photographing for the OSU daily newspaper along with the fashion department. After gaining a couple years of experience I began photographing weddings in 2012 as favors for my friends but it quickly flourished into something more than that.
An American writer once said,
“Twenty years from now you’ll be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
Mark Twain lived his life in such a way that even in the winds of uncertainty he kept sailing towards his dream, exploring new opportunities and discovering new stories to be told.
Owning a photography business has been an adventure unlike any I’ve been on. It’s the joy for life that fuels me with the desire to learn more about people, living and love. It’s your stories that drive my passion to pursue photography so that your special moments can live on forever. Finally, it’s my love for God that allows me to see life through a new perspective and to gain a clearer focus into how I can serve others. I’m in the business of relationships; photography is just the vehicle I use to invite others to adventure with me and to create some of those relationships. God has blessed my business and I give all the glory to him; you can read more about that HERE.
Whether you’re an experienced model or booking your first photography session ever, I try to make sure that every experience I’m a part of is an enjoyable one, free of worry and full of joy.
Thanks for reading a little bit about my story. I hope to meet you and learn a little bit about yours!
