Anyone who knows me knows I LOVE traveling and recently I was blessed with the opportunity to photograph this lovely bride’s big day in Palestine, Texas. I first met Shala through my best friend Jessica. They met through their blogs; how fun right? It’s amazing when technology can bring like-minded individuals together in these ways. Shala flew Jessica and I out to Texas and put us up in the cutest bed and breakfast. She even made a sweet “welcome” tote filled with goodies from Magnolia Market (any fellow Fixer Upper fans freaking out with me right now?!). From the second we arrived, we were showered in southern hospitality and it was obvious that Shala puts thought and care into everything she does, including the decorating for her wedding. The venue was adorable with a white church that gave us all the light and airy feels. An amazing space for loved ones to come together combined with lush fields and a golden sunset created the perfect wedding day. Every detail, like the rustic wooden accents and old books, plus the chicken-fried steak for dinner provided for a truly southern wedding experience. Exploring new places and capturing couple’s important milestones are huge passions of mine so it meant so much to me that Shala chose us to photograph the biggest day of her life. Thank you Shala for allowing us to tell your story!
