Sometimes the most magical moments happen when you’re least expecting it. On a seemingly ordinary Saturday Scott and Dana met in their neighborhood as they were passing each other on the sidewalk. They began to talk and as their conversations grew so did their relationship. Dana loved Scott’s charm, compassion and optimism for life and Scott loved Dana’s ambition, boldness, kindness and wit. They soon began to wonder if maybe they didn’t pass each other by happenstance but rather by divine planning.
Scott and Dana said their vows on January 23rd in front of family and friends at one of Portland’s new winery’s, Cooper’s Hall. Cake and dancing followed as the couple and guests stayed late into the night. One of the best parts of the night was when Scott and Dana surprised everyone (including their children) with a choreographed dance from Grease to the song You’re The One That I want. The guests were all pulling out their cell phones taking pictures and laughing along with the Petersen’s.
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Petersen on your marriage! May you live long and happy together with your family and friends. It was a privilege to photograph your beautiful wedding.
